Last week we met Marsha P. Johnson. Today we meet her best friend and fellow LGBTQIA+ activist Sylvia Rivera.
An unapologetic fighter on the front lines of the Gay Rights movement, she was also one of the revolutionaries at the Stonewall Riots in 1969.
