Join us on the “Chisholm Trail” as we learn about the the first black woman ever to run for President of the United States!

Born in Brooklyn, New York, she served her community as an educator and politician before running for the democratic presidential nomination in 1972.

Our “People of Power” series highlights the accomplishments of POC heroes from all disciplines.
